1. Information we collect
- Assessment data — your name, email, country, and answers to the 20-question assessment.
- Account data — Patriot signup details (name, email, phone, location, profile fields).
- Activity data — RSVPs, team membership, dashboard activity, and acceptance of these policies.
- Technical data — browser user agent and timestamps tied to acceptance records, used to evidence consent.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the assessment, score, classification, and downloadable report.
- To run the Patriot dashboard, directory, events, inbox, and teams of 12.
- To improve SCDF's educational materials and identify leadership pathways.
- To evidence that participants accepted these policies before submitting forms.
3. Who can see your data
- You — your own assessment, account, and acceptance records.
- SCDF administrators — for lead review, talent identification, and platform integrity.
- Other Patriots — only the directory fields you choose to publish (e.g. name, city, role).
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. Data processors
SCDF uses standard infrastructure providers (database, authentication, email delivery, hosting, and AI model providers for the assistant). These providers process data on SCDF's behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Retention
We retain assessment, account, and acceptance records for as long as needed to operate the platform and to evidence consent. You may request deletion of your account at any time; some records may be retained in anonymized form for analytics or in non-anonymized form where required by law.
6. Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your account and assessment data.
- Opt out of optional profile fields without affecting your core access.
- Withdraw consent — note that withdrawing consent for the Participation Policy ends platform access.
7. Security
We use industry-standard authentication, row-level security in the database, and signed, time-limited links for downloadable reports. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and report suspected security issues to SCDF.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in a new policy version and re-prompted on your next form submission.
Policy version 2026-06-05. By using this site, registering as a Patriot, taking the assessment, RSVPing to an event, or otherwise submitting information you confirm you have read and agree to these terms.
